- I am directed to state that School Education Department desired to foster a sense of problem solving skills among students of schools to equip students to tackle academic challenges, make informed decisions and handle real life situation effectively. The Competent Authority has declared the theme of the month as “Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Skills to celebrate during the Month of March-2026. Following activities and events in Public Schools across Punjab shall be arranged by involving Parents, Teachers and Community Members, promoting a collaborative effort to arrange and organize it in a befitting manner:

Debate and Discussions
Critical Thinking
Students may be encouraged to participate in debates and hold discussions on problem solving skills.
Teachers encouraged student’s to argue any critical viewpoint, consider it logically and found its alternative solutions.
Students may participate in group discussions adapt strategies and generate solutions.
Teacher encourage students for questioning and curiosity.
Students will analyze situations, think critically, and propose logical solutions.
Evaluate evidence and draw conclusions
Fix a school issue i.e. littering. Propose a plan for its solution.
Allocate a fake budget for a school event (math + decision-making).
Solve puzzles to escape the room, as a teamwork and during time pressure.
