CONVERSION OF CONTRACT EMPLOYEES TO LUMP SUM PAY ACCORDING TO NEW RULES AND REGULATIONS

I am directed to refer to this Department’s previous correspondence regarding the employment framework of School Guards and other contract staff.

In light of the Punjab Regularization of Service (Repeal) Ordinance 2025, the Competent Authority has directed that the services of the concerned contract employees shall be transitioned from the Basic Pay Scale (BPS) to a Lump Sum Pay Package.

This conversion is part of the updated regulatory framework aimed at streamlining administrative costs.

All concerned DDOS (Drawing and Disbursing Officers) are instructed to ensure that pay fixations are processed according to the new scales defined under the current rules, effective immediately.

All previous orders inconsistent with this new pay structure are hereby superseded.
