Motorcycles/scooters free Registration 2026
GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB EXCISE, TAXATION AND NARCOTICS CONTROL DEPARTMENT

NOTIFICATION
No.SO (E&M)1-101/2018:- In exercise of the powers conferred under rule
4 of the Punjab Motor Vehicles Rules, 1969, the Governor of the Punjab is pleased to exempt the motorcycles/scooters upto 150cc from the operation of following rules of the Punjab Motor Vehicles Rules, 1969 in respect of already registered vehicles, for the period of one month from 06th April 2026 to 05th May 2026:
a) rule 47 for transfer fee and price of certificate of registration / data embedded card,
b) serial number 6(e) of the rule 32C for new registration mark.
