NOTIFICATION
No. SO(I&C-I) 5-13/2026. In continuation of this department’s earlier
notification of Even No. dated 10-03-26 (Copy Enclosed), the Competent Authority has been pleased to direct the implementation of following austerity measures, in addition to the measures already in place with immediate effect and till further orders:
- All the Shops, Markets and Shopping Malls shall be closed at 08:00 PM throughout the week (including Saturday and Sunday) except following sectors:
Pharmacies / Medical Stores, Medical Supply Stores, Medical Laboratories and Hospitals;
Petrol Pumps and CNG Stations, and
Tandoors, Bakeries and Milk / Dairy Shops.
- All Hotels, Restaurants and Food Outlets shall be closed at 10:00 PM (there shall be no restriction on takeaway and home delivery services).
- All Marriage Halls, Banquets and Marriage Functions shall be closed by 10:00 PM (this includes marriage functions at residences and farm houses).

- Chairman, Planning & Development Board.
- Inspector General of Police, Punjab.

- All Administrative Secretaries to Government of the Punjab.
- Secretary, Industries, Commerce and Investment Department, Government of the Punjab with the request to ensure its sharing with all Chambers of Commerce & Industries for timely necessary action.
- Secretary Information & Culture Department, Government of the Punjab with the request to ensure wide circulation of these austerity measures for information of general public.
- All Divisional Commissioners in the Punjab.
- Additional Secretary (Gen) / Staff Officer to Chief Secretary.
- All Deputy Commissioners in the Punjab.
- PS to Secretary (I&C), S&GAD.

پنجاب حکومت نے نوٹیفیکیشن جاری کیا ہے کہ صوبے بھر کی بازاریں، مارکیٹیں اور شاپنگ مالز رات 8 بجے بند ہوں گے، جبکہ بیکریاں، ریسٹورنٹس اور کھانے پینے کی دکانیں 10 بجے تک کھلی رہ سکیں گی۔ میرج ہالز، مارکیز اور دیگر کمرشل مقامات بھی 10 بجے کے بعد بند رہیں گے، اور گھروں میں شادی کی تقریبات بھی 10 بجے کے بعد منعقد کرنے پر پابندی ہوگی۔ میڈیکل اسٹورز، پٹرول پمپ، تندور، بیکریز، ملک شاپس اور فارمیسیز ان پابندیوں سے مستثنیٰ ہوں گے۔
