The Finance Department Punjab released Rs. 5,300.00 million for STIs for 36 districts

Salary of STIs:

The Finance Department Punjab has released Rs. 5,300.00 million for STIs for 36 districts on 3rd March 2026. The funds are expected to be transferred to the respective DEAs within the next week, after which the payments will be disbursed to the STIs accordingly.

Regarding the salary of Afternoon School teachers in Bhakkar,

the District Education Authority Bhakkar is currently facing a shortfall in its PFC share. The matter has been taken up with the Finance Department Punjab. Meanwhile, the School Education Department Punjab has deputed a team to evaluate the financial position and fund status of DEA Bhakkar.
