📢 Best decision — Great news for teachers! Government decision to conduct DPC four times a year — Weldon Punjab Government 👏
An important and welcome decision has come out from the Government of Punjab, School Education Department, under which now the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meetings will be held four times a year.
📅 DPC meetings will now be held every year:
✅ January
✅ April
✅ July
✅ October
This move will:
🔹 Delays in promotion cases will be reduced
🔹 Teachers will get timely promotion opportunities
🔹 Pending cases will be disposed of quickly
🔹 Performance review will be conducted in a transparent and systematic manner
The government has clarified that the performance of CEOs / DEOs will also be evaluated on the basis of timely disposal of promotion cases, and it will be mandatory to submit a complete working paper at least 10 days before the DPC. This decision has been declared a top priority.
Of course, this decision is encouraging for the teaching community and is a positive step towards improving the service structure. It is hoped that this process will ensure merit, transparency and timely promotion.

📢 بہترین فیصلہ — اساتذہ کے لیے بڑی خوشخبری! سال میں چار مرتبہ ڈی پی سی (DPC) کروانے کا حکومتی فیصلہ — ویلڈن پنجاب حکومت 👏
حکومتِ پنجاب، سکول ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ کی جانب سے ایک اہم اور خوش آئند فیصلہ سامنے آیا ہے جس کے تحت اب ڈیپارٹمنٹل پروموشن کمیٹی (DPC) کے اجلاس سال میں چار مرتبہ منعقد کیے جائیں گے۔
📅 ڈی پی سی اجلاس اب ہر سال:
✅ جنوری
✅ اپریل
✅ جولائی
✅ اکتوبر
میں باقاعدہ شیڈول کے مطابق ہوں گے۔
اس اقدام سے:
🔹 پروموشن کیسز میں تاخیر کم ہوگی
🔹 اساتذہ کو بروقت ترقی کے مواقع ملیں گے
🔹 زیرِ التواء کیسز جلد نمٹائے جا سکیں گے
🔹 کارکردگی کا جائزہ شفاف اور منظم انداز میں لیا جائے گا
حکومت نے واضح کیا ہے کہ CEOs / DEOs کی کارکردگی بھی پروموشن کیسز کو بروقت نمٹانے کی بنیاد پر جانچی جائے گی، اور ڈی پی سی سے کم از کم 10 دن پہلے مکمل ورکنگ پیپر جمع کروانا لازمی ہوگا۔ اس فیصلے کو ٹاپ پرائرٹی قرار دیا گیا ہے۔
یقیناً یہ فیصلہ اساتذہ برادری کے لیے حوصلہ افزا ہے اور سروس اسٹرکچر میں بہتری کی جانب مثبت قدم ہے امید ہے کہ اس عمل سے میرٹ، شفافیت اور بروقت ترقی کو یقینی بنایا جائے گا۔
