COMPLETION OF COURSES WITHIN TIMELINES THROUGH TEMPORARY RATIONALIZATION OF TEACHERS IN SURROUNDING COLLEGES HAVING SHORTAGE OF TEACHING STAFF
I am directed to refer to subject cited above and to state that HED South Punjab has under taken the above mentioned initiative with aim to ensure timely completion of educational courses in the colleges. The approved SOP of the initiative states that:-
“DPI (Colleges) will carry out assessment / evaluation of shortage of teaching staff in colleges and propose rationalization of teachers for 90 days attachment for course completion. AS(HE) will analyze proposal and submit with his recommendation. AS(Admin) will issue orders of attachment/temporary rationalization.”
- It is further stated that following secretariat level committee has been formulated to observe the course completion status in all the colleges of South Punjab:-

It is, therefore, requested to collect data from all divisions regarding shortage of staff /
status of course completion and to identify the colleges where teaching staff is necessarily required
to be rationalized temporarily in order to ensure completion of the courses on the following grounds:-a. short term rationalization will be only for maximum of 90 days in order to ensure completion of courses
b. surplus teachers / rationalized staff will be only identified from near by colleges on the recommendation of Director/DDC concerned
- It is further conveyed that a meeting, in this regard, has been scheduled under the Chairmanship of Special Secretary HED South Punjab on 29.01.2026 (Thursday) to discuss the rationalization proposal and to decide the same.

محکمہ ہائر ایجوکیشن جنوبی پنجاب نے کورسز کی بروقت تکمیل کے لیے ایک اہم قدم اٹھایا ہے۔ جن کالجز میں اساتذہ کی کمی ہے، وہاں قریبی کالجز سے 90 دنوں کے لیے اساتذہ کو عارضی طور پر تعینات (Rationalization) کیا جائے گا۔
اہم نکات:

✅ دورانیہ: زیادہ سے زیادہ 90 دن کی عارضی تعیناتی۔
✅ اجلاس: اس منصوبے کو حتمی شکل دینے کے لیے 29 جنوری 2026 کو اجلاس طلب کر لیا گیا ہے۔
