GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB HIGHER EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

Dated: Lahore, the 22 December, 2025

No.S.O(A-II)1-1/2001(P): It is hereby notified that all higher educational

institutions, both in public and private sector, under the jurisdiction of the Higher Education Department (HED), Punjab, shall remain closed for winter vacations w.e.f. 23-12-2025 (Tuesday) to 12-01-2026 (Monday).

2. All colleges (public and private) shall re-open on Tuesday, 13th January, 2026, resuming full / normal week for all classes.
3. BS 4-Year Programs, however, shall continue to function. Furthermore, all examinations shall be held as per the notified schedules of Boards and Universities.
