Data per student cost in Government Schools

Dear Teachers!
In the interest of public interest, please share this message in your respective district and school groups.
Several teachers are receiving inquiries through phone and messages that the School Education Department has asked for Per Student Cost, how to calculate it. In this regard, the following important points should be kept in mind:
- While calculating the per student cost, the budget allocated for vacant posts should not be included, because this budget is returned at the end of the financial year.
- In determining the per student cost, only the budget for working posts should be included, the budget for vacant posts should not be included in any case.
- Add the NSB amount to the total salaries of all teachers working in the school, later divide this total amount by the total number of students in the school. In this way, the per student cost will be obtained.
Note: It should be taken into account that only the budget for working posts is included, it will not be correct to include the budget for vacant posts.
Important clarification: Since the details of the expenditure on a per student basis have been requested from the schools, the budget that is allocated for vacant posts and later returned will not be included in it.

متعدد اساتذۂ کرام کی جانب سے بذریعہ فون اور پیغامات یہ استفسار موصول ہو رہا ہے کہ سکول ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ نے فی طالب علم لاگت (Per Student Cost) طلب کی ہے، جو کس طرح نکالی جائے۔ اس سلسلے میں درج ذیل اہم نکات کو مدنظر رکھا جائے:
1۔ فی طالب علم لاگت کا حساب کرتے وقت خالی اسامیوں (Vacant Posts) کے لیے مختص بجٹ کو شامل نہ کیا جائے، کیونکہ یہ بجٹ مالی سال کے اختتام پر واپس ہو جاتا ہے۔
2۔ فی طالب علم لاگت کے تعین میں صرف ورکنگ اسامیوں (Working Posts) کا بجٹ شامل کیا جائے گا، خالی اسامیوں کا بجٹ کسی صورت شامل نہ کیا جائے۔
3۔ سکول میں کام کرنے والے تمام اساتذہ کی مجموعی تنخواہوں میں NSB کی رقم شامل کریں، بعد ازاں اس مجموعی رقم کو سکول میں موجود طلبہ کی کل تعداد پر تقسیم کر دیں۔ اس طرح فی طالب علم لاگت حاصل ہو جائے گی۔
نوٹ: اس امر کا خاص خیال رکھا جائے کہ صرف ورکنگ اسامیوں کا بجٹ شامل کیا جائے، خالی اسامیوں کا بجٹ شامل کرنا درست نہیں ہوگا۔
اہم وضاحت: چونکہ سکولوں سے فی طالب علم بنیاد پر ہونے والے اخراجات کی تفصیل طلب کی گئی ہے، اس لیے وہ بجٹ جو خالی اسامیوں کی مد میں مختص ہوتا ہے اور بعد ازاں واپس ہو جاتا ہے، اس میں شامل نہیں کیا جائے گا۔
